Halloween Tutorial: Peacock

AAAH! So I completely forgot to post a ...well..blogpost on another halloween tutorial that I did before I left for halloween weekend. It was a peacock look. I dont know what's going on with youtube or my editor, but my videos have been uploading funny lately. I'll upload a certain edited version (or so i think i did) and then when I see the video on my page, it shows up with random cuts. Eh, oh well. I tried to re-upload several videos so many times, and nothing changed. Hopefully my latest video will upload correctly soon enough! ANYWAYS, onto the peacock look. I was a peacock this halloween! I didnt do too much crazy stuff with my makeup though. I was going to and then I realized that I didnt' have much time to get ready. This is what i originally wanted to do. Click here for the Youtube tutorial!

But this is what I ended up doing for the actual halloween party. It was a similar look to my "sexy secretary" look but I added a hint of dark blue and purple eyeshadow. You probably can't tell by the pictures though. I also made my own costume! These were the only photos that you could actually see my costume in.

Enjoy~! :)

Halloween Tutorial: Vampire (Katherine from The Vampire Diaries)

I know I look nothing like Nina Dobrev but I tried to do a tutorial to kinda get the feel for her character as Katherine when she's in vampire mode. Click here for the youtube tutorial!
Here are some pictures that I looked at for inspiration.

I wish I had a pair of vampire fangs to put on to show you guys....but the truth is I don't.  :( I'm sorry. Fangs would totally complete the look though. Like I said before, this is more of an inspired look. Not that many products were needed. The most important things for this look are a foundation that is a few shades lighter than your natural skintone, matte black eyeshadow, and a red eyeshadow, Katherine/Elena's signature black leather jacket and long curly hair. Here are a few pictures of the look on me! Towards the end, it got too hard to look evil and conniving..... so i just made silly faces and smiled. lol

You can't really tell from the pictures, but I put in my pink circle lenses because the vampires in the show get these glossy red eyes once they go into vampire mode. The pink circle lenses were PERFECT for this effect. I also used my Hello Gorgeous Extensions in order to get Katherine's perfect loose long curls. I hope you guys enjoy this look as much as I did! :)
