LUUUX, nails, hair, makeup

I know I've been lacking quite a bit in updating my blog. BUT it's for a good reason! I've been trying to get more steady with my YouTube channel so I've been neglecting my blog for a little bit. I'm so sorry!!! :( Anyways, I've done quite a few tutorials since my last post and I wanted to show you guys a few pictures! But, before we get to that...I'm so excited to say that I'VE JOINED LUUUX! I know several YT beauty gurus have been tweeting/making videos about it and  I was really curious as to what it was. So I checked it out, registered, posted, etc. It's basically like another blog where you can post things and rack up points to win prizes. I figured why not try it out! It's actually kind of fun! If you guys want to check it out as well here's my specific link http://www.luuux.com/share/b9428b3a34710f42 . I don't really know how else to share my page with you guys. And I will be up front about it...if you join by clicking that link then I believe I do benefit by gaining some points. BUT that is not the reason I'm posting that link! I really, genuinely wanted to share this site with everyone.

Well, finally after blabbing on and on here are a few pictures of the tutorials I did! The links to the actual tutorials will be right below the pictures! :)

My make-up for those days that I woke up with not enough sleep

That is all for tonight! I really hope you guys are enjoying my blog as of yet. I know it's not something deep and meaningful...but I'm not a deep and meaningful person. I just enjoy sharing the things I have learned over the years with all of you. Gnite!

NOTD

Here is my nail of the day for today (obviously..lol) I used my sinful colors polish in Dream On (a matte magenta) for the tips and painted on a silver glitter (LA Colors art deco in Silver glitter). Then went over it with an LA Girl Flare clear polish for the top coat.
What do you guys think??

22nd Birthday

Hi all again! I don't think anyone really knows but it was my 22nd birthday on Aug 3rd. I didn't really get to celebrate because I had to take my MCAT exam (medical school admittance exam) on the 5th :( . So, I basically just studied ALL day on my bday! Anyways, the day after my exam a few of my sorority sisters and I had a joint birthday party. All our birthdays are really close to each other so we figured WHY NOT! It was at their new apartment (they're still staying at MSU but since I have graduated I don't really have a place anymore lol) It was a DRAMA FREE night ..THANK GOODNESS haha! It was good to see everyone before I left for Alabama. Here are a few pics from the night. And THANK YOU to all the people who were able to make it.

The birthday girls! We're all in the same family line in the sorority.
Bri (my twin), Me, Chelsea (my pseudo)
All the APhiG girls that were able to make it out! :)

BoA - Game MakeUp tutorial

I was really excited to do this look! It's simple, edgy, dark, and SEXY (lol)! It's also perfect for a night out when you wanna do something a little more dramatic. Best part is I only used 2 different eyeshadows! Well, enough with the blabbering and onto pictures and the tutorial!

IT'S BEEN SO LONG!

I've been away for SO LONG! I haven't been able to upload ANY videos to youtube because I haven't had time to film nor could i blog! I just currently took my MCAT exam and then moved from Michigan to Alabama the week after. So with that being said, I guess you could all understand why I haven't had time! I tried to edit a few videos during this past few days, but for some reason my windows live movie editor keeps crashing halfway into the editing process! ARGH! It's getting me so frustrated! Anyways, I have pictures rather to make up for my lack of blogging!

I would like to start off with...I DYED MY HAIR AGAIN! I know i know..I shouldn't dye it so often. But, I figured I would dye it back to black to match my natural hair color so that I wouldn't have to touch up every month. I used the Wella color gel in Very dark brown and I used a 20volume developer. The results were a lot darker than I had expected (Keep in mind that I haven't had all-over black hair in about....6 years) It was kind of a shock at first but it's been about a week now and the color has become less intense. But I like how it looks now. Not too dark, but dark enough. Here are some pics of the shades my hair went through in order to lighten it to the point that I wanted it to be. And then a few pics of it after i dyed it black again! I know the pictures of my lightened hair doesn't seem that drastic...but in real life it was pretty light. People were telling me that I looked BLONDE! Lol

Here's a few un-edited pictures of my face after using Graftobian HD Glamour Creme (in Enchantress). I used my Mary Kay mineral foundation over it to set it and then a little bit of bronzer. It seriously gives you a FLAWLESS look with just a little bit of product. SO GOOD! Especially if you're going to use it for a photoshoot!!! I'm so glad I bought this stuff. I'm definitely going to repurchase when I hit pan
Without flash and with flash

This is a simple back-to-school look I did. The video will be posted as soon as I can start editing again!! Ignore my dry lips! UGH hahahha

Here are a few pictures of the back-to-school look closeup.

I just tried out these new circle lenses!
It's the EOS MaxPure Pink circle lenses. I got them without prescription.
They're actually pretty comfortable and I like the way they look!

Let me know what you guys think about circle lenses and the graftobian foundation!!

Until next time,

Foundation Color Comparisons

So I bought the Hi-Def Glamour Creme Foundation in Warm Palette #1 from Graftobian the other day and I'm SUPER excited. I've heard lots of raves about it by other YT makeup gurus.

Anyways, the cheapest place I found it was at the Paint and Powder Store. Normally the palette would be around $21 but on this site it was only $18.99 (not including shipping). With that being said, I know I've always been very nervous to buy things such as concealers and foundations online because it always makes me think "OH NO! WHAT IF THE COLOR IS WRONG?!" And with that in mind, that is why i bought the palette...so that I could mix around with the colors (my skin is also very tan in the summer and quite pale in the winter so it's always changing) and I also found THIS AMAZING chart on the website Foundation Color Comparison Chart

So for everyone out there that needs foundation color comparisons for the brands Graftobian, MAC, Shu Uemura, Revlon Colorstay, along with a few other stage makeup brands..this will help A LOT!
